This necklace comprises various elongated silver beads decorated with applied silver work, small red beads, and larger coral-orange (or amber) and yellow glass beads.
Among the Yemeni, the colour of coral symbolised beauty and youth.
Ransom (2014, p. 121) illustrates several necklaces that incorporate very similar process amber and yellow beads.
The necklace is in fine condition and is wearable.
