Burmese Ivory Hilt

Carved Ivory Dagger Handle

This fine knife or sword hilt is carved from ivory and shows an ogre amongst leafy openwork. It has a good, yellowing patina. Such hilts were used on all manner of knives, swords and daggers. The example here is without losses or repairs.
