Unusual Straits Chinese White-Ground Bowl

diameter: 8.3cm, height: 4.5cm
This delicate bowl was acquired in the UK from a Chinese lady who is descended from a Penang Straits Chinese family. They had belonged to her grandmother.
It is decorated with a phoenix and sprays of flowers. The lower part of the body has an unusual band of spiral motifs in blue enamel.
There is now maker’s or reign mark.
The bowl is in very good condition; no chips, cracks or restoration.
