This pair of gold earrings is set with pearls, semi-precious stones and fine gold beads decorated with exquisite granulation work.
A similar pair is illustrated in Hoek (2004, p. 105).
A single example is illustrated in van Cutsem (2005, p. 82) and described as a nose ring, but the presence of a pair here and other pairs illustrated elsewhere suggest that these are earrings. Another possibility is that they could be both.
