Talks by Michael Backman

Michael occasionally gives speeches and lectures. Here are two – one at the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, in conjunction with the publication of his book ‘Malay Silver and Gold’. The other is a guest lecture at SOAS, University of London, on the role of dealers in preserving the world’s material culture.
